Nigeria Organic Farming Ecosystem Ltd · RC 9778045
NOFE originates, structures and operates agricultural projects. We bring land, farmers, organic inputs, finance, certification, aggregation and markets together so each project can be financed, farmed and sold as one coordinated enterprise.
What NOFE does
Nigeria has land, farmers and demand. What is often missing is the coordination that turns them into productive, financeable enterprises.
NOFE takes operational responsibility for that chain. Financing, infrastructure, technical and market partners take part through clearly defined contractual roles, and each project runs on its own budget, schedule and reporting.
Land & assets
Secure land, water and security, and bring underused farm estates, dams and infrastructure into production.
Inputs
Approved organic and bio-organic inputs, seed and crop protocols, matched to each crop and site.
Production
Organised farmers, commodity associations and outgrowers, with NOFE managing operations to common standards.
Post-harvest
Grading, aggregation, storage and processing that protect quality and reduce losses.
Markets
Documented buyer arrangements covering product specifications, volumes, price and payment terms.
Project-specific financing that blends partner equity, commercial and development finance, commodity subscriptions and offtake-backed credit.
Georeferenced farm records, batch traceability, organic certification pathways and data that lenders, insurers and climate funds can verify.
Seven pillars, run as one system. Land without finance stays idle; finance without professional operations carries production risk; production without aggregation and offtake does not turn into cash flow.
Flagship development
A 1,500-hectare agricultural platform on the Airport Road corridor in the Federal Capital Territory. It is NOFE’s demonstration and investment-readiness site, and the template for replication in other states.

Hectares are planned or surveyed areas, not areas under cultivation. NOFE describes produce as certified organic only once certification has been issued for that land, production system and harvest. Pictures are AI-generated illustrations, not photographs of the project sites.
Footprint
The Giri flagship anchors the portfolio in the Federal Capital Territory. Ecosystem member projects extend across Sokoto, Kaduna, Gombe, Plateau, Nasarawa and Taraba States.

The ecosystem
NOFE coordinates a growing group of members who bring land, security, inputs, farmer networks, finance and projects into one ecosystem. Each takes part through a defined role.
Ecosystem financiers
NOFE structures each project so that it can be financed on its own schedule. These are the institutions NOFE is engaging as of October 2026.
Stages describe the state of discussions, not financing commitments.

An irrigated dry-season block of organic chili and habanero, grown for an export-oriented buyer that purchases at the farm gate.

The crop is grown under pump-based irrigation through the dry season. The buyer takes produce at the farm gate and handles export logistics, and produce that misses export specification goes to Abuja’s domestic market.
Financing is released in tranches against verified milestones: land preparation and irrigation, transplanting, and crop establishment.
Financing is in appraisal. Before disbursement, NOFE will complete site and water assessments and document the offtake terms: product specifications, volumes, price and payment.

A 200-hectare commercial block at Giri for FACAN members, now under review for dry-season production with NOFE as adviser.

NOFE prospected a wet-season cowpea and bambara nut pilot with FACAN subscribers in August and September 2026. The wet-season cycle did not go ahead, and NOFE now supports FACAN in an advisory role.
The original design had members finance defined production hectares under common organic and traceability standards, with agricultural insurance built into the per-hectare budget and harvests open to subscriber monitoring.
No planting took place in September 2026. The pilot is under review for dry-season farming.

Three aquaculture projects being developed with NFAN, a national association of fish farmers: two in Kaduna State and one at Doma Dam in Nasarawa State.

NOFE is developing three fish-farming projects with NFAN and its members in Kaduna and Nasarawa States. Details for each project will be added as project briefs are completed.
Projects are under development as of October 2026.

A fish-first development plan with RYNESIS Group at the Dadin Kowa reservoir: cage-farmed tilapia, a cold chain and a 50-hectare farm, with a cooperative programme for local fishermen.

The plan puts cash generation first: produce, preserve, sell, repay, then reinvest. Tilapia from cages is iced or frozen at harvest and sold through Gombe and into wider North-East and North-Central markets.
Before capital is committed, a 30-day Phase 0 confirms legal rights, physical assets, water quality and depth, carrying capacity and market demand. It ends in a go, conditional-go or redesign decision.
Version 2 of the business plan was completed in September 2026, and RYNESIS Group has engaged NOFE as consultant. Phase 0 asset validation is the next step.

Business planning and financing support for Lubshat Farms as it expands into semi-automated poultry, commercial catfish and an on-farm feed mill.

The plan is built around feed-cost control. The feed mill supplies the farm’s own poultry and fish units and sells surplus feed to third parties, so the three businesses support each other.
The expansion builds on existing assets: two poultry pens holding about 5,000 birds, about 20 concrete fish ponds and a building earmarked for a hatchery.
The business plan was completed in August 2026, and an expression of interest went to a participating bank in October 2026.

Business plans for two sponsors, each organising 1,000 smallholder outgrowers on one hectare apiece across four farm clusters.

Each programme runs a single dry-season rice cycle from November to May, tied to the valley’s irrigation window. Inputs and funds must reach farmers by October for the calendar to hold.
Outgrowers receive inputs and working capital, which are recovered on a structured schedule after harvest.
Both business plans were completed in August 2026.

A development-to-operations engagement for Abdullahi Idris Farms' integrated farm in Kaduna State.

NOFE’s proposal covers the full path from site assessment to a running farm: soil and water testing, a bankable development plan, financing support, setup and procurement, farm operations and staff training.
NOFE issued its proposal in October 2026.

A cluster of cocoa and tea projects brought into the ecosystem by Antakil Milnda Synergy Ltd, to be developed in partnership with NOFE.

Antakil Milnda Synergy Ltd plans an integrated cocoa value chain run from Barkin Ladi, Plateau State. The process runs from harvesting, fermentation, drying and grading through roasting, cracking, grinding and pressing to packaging.
Its Milnda Synergy Tea line processes tea in Jos from plantations in Gembu, Taraba State. By-products are turned into value-added goods, including organic fertiliser made from cocoa pod husks.
Antakil Milnda Synergy is bringing a cluster of projects into the ecosystem and is forming a partnership with NOFE to develop them.

EnegasLongmen JV Ltd, an ecosystem member, plans to farm a 200-hectare paddy rice block at Giri in partnership with NOFE. It will also aggregate paddy rice across Nasarawa State and the FCT, and run livestock production and processing at Abaji.
The block is planned as of October 2026.

A cooperative poultry farm at Bani Sambo Farm in Gombe State combining egg production, a hatchery, an on-farm feed mill and organic manure.

MANBEL Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative Society runs its project as an integrated farm. The hatchery supplies day-old chicks to the laying unit, the feed mill produces feed in-house, and poultry manure is sold as organic fertiliser.
Eggs are aimed at markets across Gombe and neighbouring North-East states, where demand for affordable protein is growing.
A business plan has been prepared for the cooperative’s expansion.
